A different approach to women's leadership

Most women's leadership talks focus on confidence and resilience, on fixing the woman. I don't.

I expose the gendered conditioning that makes capable women doubt themselves in the first place, so your audience leaves understanding something that changes everything: they were never the problem. The system they've been operating in is.

That shift is what frees experienced women to lead with the authority their experience already warrants. It's also what stops organisations losing their best women to over-functioning, attrition and quiet stagnation, at exactly the level where they're hardest to replace.

My talks are built on more than 20 years as a board-level Director of Communications, and a pattern I've seen across hundreds of senior women: expert, experienced, over-delivering, and under-recognised. It's costing them their leadership potential, and it's costing organisations their female pipeline.

I speak on strategic influence, leadership communication, and the conditioning traps that keep talented women waiting in the wings for their work to speak for itself. I'm a qualified leadership coach with the Institute of Leadership & Management, a former NHS and private sector board director, and founder of a 90,000-strong community of women.

Keynote Speaker Topics

Fix the system, not the women

Most women's leadership talks focus on fixing the woman. This one doesn't. Louise exposes the gendered conditioning and systemic traps that keep brilliant, expert women over-functioning and under-valued, and gives both women and organisations the clarity to actually do something about it.

Why brilliant women work harder yet get further behind

Most women's leadership programmes are solving the wrong problem. The issue isn't confidence or resilience. It's a set of gendered conditioning traps that keep brilliant, capable women over-delivering, under-valued, and stuck in the wrong gear. This keynote exposes what's really going on and gives both women and their organisations the clarity to finally do something about it.

No, your work won't speak for itself

You were told to keep your head down and let your results do the talking. That's not a leadership strategy. It's a conditioning trap and it's keeping brilliant, expert women from fulfilling their leadership potential. And everyone is paying the price.

Sample Workshops

Leadership communication for women

Most female leaders aren't held back by what they know. They're held back by how they're operating (often down to ingrained corporate conditioning) . This workshop tackles the communication patterns keeping talented women in tactical gear and builds the skills to lead with strategic impact and influence.

The strategic shift for female leaders

A practical workshop on leadership identity, impact and confidence for women. Built for organisations who want their female leaders to stop waiting to be noticed, and start leading like they mean it.

If you're looking for a speaker or workshop facilitator who will challenge your leaders, shift their thinking, and help them shape their voice and their value, let's talk.

Interested in booking me to speak? This is a 15–20 minute conversation to explore whether I'm a good fit for your event or programme. Before the call, I'll ask you a few questions about your audience, brief, and what you're hoping the session delivers. That means we can use our time well.
